Our inherited know-how is encrypted in the history of Espresso Coffee. We are proud of our legacy know-how in particular through our business expertise and network in the field of coffee pods, single-serve capsule technology (Monodor*/Mocoffee*), and the development and production of Espresso Machines (SwissFactory.Group / Egro) for the coffee industry.

With MYCOFFEEWORLD, Coffee Pioneer Pascal Schlittler and a group of investors provide entrepreneurial equity, hands-on support, and business expertise to innovative coffee start-ups & established businesses.

    Angelo Moriondo discovers by chance a new coffee – The Espresso

  • 1901 - FIRST PATENTS

    Luigi Bezzera invents and sells its patent to Desideria Pavoni

  • 1942 - INVENTION OF THE LEVER OPERATED PISTON

    Achille Gaggia invents the lever-operated-piston system

  • 1961 - FIRST PUMP MACHINE

    Carlo Ernesto Valente launches the pump machine

  • 1972 - EGRO Micado automatic

    Development and production of the world’s first fully automatic coffee machine “Micado” by EGRO. Todaz Egro is part of the industrial group Swissfactory.Group, co-foundet by us.

  • 1975 - ERIC FAVRE

    Éric Favre discovers and demonstrates the formula –

    Espresso = X% coffee +Y% water at q° C

  • 1976 -1989 - THE NESPRESSO CONCEPT

    Éric Favre establishes the Nespresso* Concept for Nestlé and stays till 1989

  • 2010 - FOUNDING OF MOCOFFEE AG

    Founding of Mocoffee AG by Éric Favre & Pascal Schlittler, CEO and co-founder in March 2010. The company delivers innovative coffee capsule solutions, winning several awards.

    Brazilian wine.com.br and Green coffee Trader TRISTÃO acquire the majority of Mocoffee AG.

  • 2018 - FOUNDING OF MYCOFFEEWORLD

    Pascal Schlittler exits Mocoffee – founding MYCOFFEEWORLD – an investment circle around him, delivering services for the coffee industry.
